2024 Food Tech Maker Startup On:ON, Opening Event Held
Stayjungle Food Lab (CEO Kim Eun-jung), a Food Tech specialized lab at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups Makerspace, announced that it held an opening event with the teams selected for '2024 Food Tech Maker Startup On:ON', a program aimed at discovering food tech maker ideas that can be commercialized in the successful startup preparation phase and fostering excellent prospective maker entrepreneurs.
This first cohort includes a total of 17 teams: Leaf, PickMeUp25, Hatch, AVO, Smalldose, Life Culin, Sigol Bapsim, Toasterz, The Kitchen Lab, Fruit Lulu, Sambakja, ColdSweet, Colkim, AVL, D'chilling, and Lekker Lekker. They were selected for their services and products that bring innovation to the existing food and beverage industry, such as food tech-focused sliced specialized cultivated meat, fermentation-specialized IoT solutions for home baking, as well as the development of high-protein ice cream and European desserts.
